Eternal Purpose In Christ:
Living a
story that has no end.
Thank you for taking the time to read about us!
I hope you will gain an understanding of our student ministries here at
Black Forest Chapel. Our primary objective is to have students fall in
love with Jesus and to deepen their relationship with Him! Each facet of
the youth ministry is designed to provide avenues of fellowship,
evangelism, discipleship, ministry, and worship for each student to
participate in on a regular basis. As students grow in their faith, it is
our desire to help them find their gifts and talents. Then to provide ways
for them to incorporate their gifts and talents into service to God.
It is my personal desire, as Youth Pastor, to provide solid Biblical
teaching that promotes practical life application. Before each student
graduates from high school, it is my goal for them to be able to stand
firm in their faith.
My goal is to have each student:
- Learn what true authentic faith is and how they can live it out in
their lives.
- Learn spiritual disciplines and the importance of spending time
alone with God.
- Develop moral boundaries:
- to learn to distinguish right from wrong.
- to seek to set a positive example.
- Realize the importance of healthy friendships that encourage growth
spiritually.
- Learn to make wise choices and decisions through the help of God and
others.
- Find ultimate authority in God's truth.
- Learn to put others before themselves.
My vision for Black
Forest Chapel is to instill in your students a love for God and for
others, that will continue with them throughout their lives. How will I do
this? By implementing specific times that focus on what I believe to be
the five core purposes of any effective Youth Ministry: Discipleship,
Fellowship, Ministry, Worship, and Evangelism.
I hope the information on this site gives you more clarity into my
vision for Black Forest Chapel's Youth Ministries. I want all of you to
know that your students already have a special place in my heart and I
take the responsibility of teaching them GodÍs Word very seriously. My
wife, Megan, and I desire to give each student a Godly example to follow.
I will always strive to live what I teach and walk what I preach. Once
again thank you for entrusting your students into my care, I will do my
best to lead them in a Godly way. Know that I will always rely on God to
work through me.
In His Grip,
Bill White
