What We Believe About Giving
"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7
At Black Forest Chapel, we believe that giving matters; and it’s not about how much you give or don’t give. We believe that giving generously to God’s mission matters because it is an act of worship and a surrender of the heart (Proverbs 3:9). We also believe that although everything belongs to the Lord (Psalm 24:1), God chooses to use His Church to help provide for His mission here and around the world. God will build His Church, but He desires to use us (Matthew 16:18, 2 Corinthians 9:12-15). Through your generous giving, we are able to continue moving forward with the mission of helping people find Jesus and experience true life in Him. We are excited to join hands in this mission with you.
